We all have watched enough movies to know how it happens. But in movies, no one ever seems to be prepared for this apocalypse, but with a little bit of planning, you can be.
Today we made a list of all the things that you might need in your zombie apocalypse kit
1. Water- Proof Torch Light
A practical tool like this should be in your kit. Having access to light on the apocalyptic world would be very difficult. If you have a light source that will last for quite a long time, it can help you in a life and death situation.
2. Food and Water
They are the most important ones to gather before or during the apocalypse. Food and water can become scarce during any disaster. Make sure that your zombie survival kit will have non-perishable food items and also ready to eat or easy to cook food items.
3. Trusty Pocket Knife
You should always be prepared for anything that may happen, and EDC Knife would be a handy multi-tool. Put it in your pocket, or in any easy to reach storage. This tiny thing is very useful in hunting, fixing things, or even attacking. An everyday carry pocket knife is a given during the zombie apocalypse.
4. Survival Bag Pack
During an apocalypse, there will be a huge chance that you will move for safety or even hunting and looking for supplies, and you wouldn’t want a lanky backpack just in case you’ll be running off for your life. A durable survival backpack with lots of functionality that includes durable zippers and plenty of external attachment points for all your bulky survival gear is highly recommended. Having a roomy compartment to place essential items that’ll get you through a few days out in the open is truly a life-saver.
5. Compact Binoculars
Being safe in terms of danger will also depend on your capability to focus and vigilance. To help you see what’s happening outside you day or night, a compact binocular is highly suggested. If you can see your target afar, then you can highly prepare to defend yourself.
6. Blankets or Sleeping Bags
During the apocalypse, it is most likely that you will be moving often for your safety. And sleeping on cold and bare grounds can make you sick or make you vulnerable, so make sure you are always prepared to camp everywhere by stocking blankets or sleeping bags with you. This can be your temporary shelter on hard times.
7. Baseball Bat
Avoiding zombies will be the best and most logical advice on surviving a zombie apocalypse, but as we all know it is impossible. If you find yourself face to face with a zombie, you’ll have to have a weapon on you. There’s a lot of things that are suggested on how to kill a zombie, but the most practical one is keeping a bat for your own safety. A bat will be an effective weapon that you can have against zombies, just remember to aim for the head.
These things are easy to get and surprisingly common tools that you can use in any other disaster. With everything that might happen, a combination of solid strategy and plan of action will help you survive the end of the world as we know it. Always remember that by failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail.
