Many of these locations don’t make sense, from the proximity of the bike girl to the hospital compared to his house, to where the governor flipped out compared to the route between the prison and Woodbury.

    • The locations on the map are the actual locations where the scenes were filmed. It is not supposed to represent where they may have taken place in the show’s universe, so to speak. Yes, the show is filmed all over the place.

Does anyone know where I could get a copy of the layout or plan for the house being used as Hershel’s house? It’s so gorgeous on the outside; I’d love to see how the interior is laid out. Any information on it at all would be appreciated. Thanks.

Appreciate the work you’ve done here! As a person who grew up in the area, and as a person who is a big fan of the zombie genre, I was excited when part of the film Zombieland was filmed in downtown Newnan….

Walking Dead is my favorite current network television show, and season two has been a lot of fun seeing so many familiar locations. However, I had been keeping an eye out all around Hwy 16 trying to find the location of Hershel’s Farm. Thanks to this site, I was amazed to see that the infamous farm is only roughly 7,000 feet SE (as the crow flies) from my old house on South Ridge in Senoia!

Thanks for the heads up! I quickly noticed parts of downtown Senoia, the rockslide at Cochran Mill and Newnan High School during the show, but it amazed me to find out that the woods directly in front of my old house lead directly to Hershel’s Farm. With the house so far from the highway, I would have never been able to figure that one out. Thanks, and I look forward to new locations popping up in the second half of season 2!

PS – I’m probably the last one to figure this out, but I switched from satellite to earth mode (in google chrome if that makes a difference), and the images are really good.
