Location Photos – Riverside Inn Bar & Grill

I recently posted some photos of a location seen twice in the ninth episode of season four, “After”. ┬áSince those photos show the location still made up for filming, I decided to take a few photos today while I was in the area.

For anyone who may have missed the previous post, this is Riverside Inn Bar and Grill which is located just outside of the real Woodbury, GA.

My grandparents owned this bar and grill back in the 50’s

The prison set is behind Raleigh studios on Chestlehurst between Senoia and Griffin. It is actually about 1/4 mile down the road from where Merle was drinking a bottle in a bar parking lot in his ghetto cruiser after letting Michonne go. I was there last Wednesday and Sunday I took pics of a bunch of other filming locations. There are still prison busses in a fenced area between the studio. and the church next door. Don’t think about asking the guard if you can turn around in the parking lot. You’ll probably have to back up the hill like I had to.

I drove to Senoia and Grantville on a drive through the US last june just to see Woodbury et all

Anyone know the address for the prison? or the farm? Plus, the address for the water photo above.. thanks so much..

    • Dani says:

There isn’t a prison, it was a set at the studio. There will be parts of the prison set at the Woodbury Shoppe in Senoia though!

Does anyone have the exact address for the Riverside inn bar? I cant find it on google maps…

    • The only address I’ve ever been able to find is:

      29 River Cove Rd
      Woodbury, GA 30293

But that doesn’t come out quite right on a map search. I’d just use the intersection of River Cove Rd and Woodbury Hwy as a specific location.

Thank you so much! My family and I are huge TWD fans and were making a trip up for spring break… What would be your top 3 most recommended locations or your favorite?

    • John Andrew says:

Where Hwy 85 and the Flint River meet outside Woodbury and Molena. You can’t see the river in the background and can barely make out the bridge.

I’m dying to know a location from tonight’s episode 11 I think season 4. Towards the end the new crew with Abraham walk past a pretty distinct red brick building. Any one know where and or what this building is?

    • Dani says:

YES! I recognized it instantly and thought I had a photo from when they were filming but I don’t. I am sure he will have it up soon. It is located on Raymond Sheddan Ave. / Goodwyn Rd, Newnan and is visible on Google street view.

My cousin, Jennifer Moye, made the sign for Walkind Dead. She did all the graphics this season.

    Freaking Awesome !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  9. Jeannie says:

Is it still open? Would make a great motorcycle ride for lunch some day! We love to make day trips to visit locations. We live in Peachtree City, just down the street from Senoia; aka Woodbury.
One of my husbands bucket list is to be a zombie on WD!

    • That’s a good question, and one I wondered when I drove by. It appeared to still be operational though it was obviously empty or closed when I was there. Some of those places aren’t open on the weekends, or at least not on Sunday, so it’s hard to tell. I took a peek through the door to see if it still looked in use but it was hard to tell. Hopefully someone who lives in the area can reply who knows for sure.
