Fan Photos – Haralson, GA

As most fans know, AMC’s The Walking Dead filmed in Haralson, GA for most of the day, each day this week.  The production being in one place for such an extended period lends itself to fans being able to make it there to watch filming and meet the cast and crew.  This week was no exception and we received a few pictures from some of the fans who were able to make it down there this week.

The first three images are courtesy of Paul Hopson.  Paul was able to get down to Haralson and while there was able to meet David Morrissey (The Governor), Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), as well as Andrew Lincoln (Rick Grimes).  The next images here are courtesy of Daniel Lewis (@dlewis_101).  Daniel was also able to make it down to Haralson where he, his wife, and son were able to meet Laurie Holden (Andrea) as as many of the same cast members as Paul.

Thank you to both Paul and Daniel for sharing these photos with us and allowing us to share with others.

Thank YOU guys again, for letting us know where they would be this week. I think I really lucked up meeting those 3 back to back on Tuesday. They were great in person & I’m so hyped for Sunday. Thanks to you Brian & the rest of Walking Dead Locations

    Paul

    • You’re most welcome. Any time I can put fans in the same area as the cast/crew and thet get a chance to meet, it’s a good day.

I’m glad everyone else is as excited about the premiere Sunday night as I am.

That is so wonderful! We are heading to Florida in two weeks for a family vacation. It’s been a hell of a year for my son in the hospital and would live to surprise him by letting him see some locations. Is there any chance that they would be filming around November 3rd in Georgia?

        • That’s a good question, actually. They normally stop filming around the beginning of November, but I haven’t heard an actual date for this year, yet, beyond simply, “November”. Honestly, we only knew last year because Norman Reedus tweeted a cast photo at the farm and said that season two was a wrap. However, if I hear anything, I will let everyone know as soon as possible. If there’s anything I can do beyond that to help, please let me know.

I’m in St Augustine for vacation and I used ur website to located many of the places where filming has occurred. On my way back home to Lexington Ky Wednesday I have every intention on stopping at as many locations as I can!! I’m really really amped!! This website is great and without it. It would have made it hard to find these exact locations. If u hear word on filming next week please pass it along cause I will stop and get as many pictures as I can. Thanks Ryan

    • Thanks for the comments, Ryan! I’m glad the site helped you and I hope you can get to as many filming locations as possible. If there’s anything I can do to help, don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll pass along any filming information I receive as quickly as possible. Good luck!

does anyone know if they if they will be back next week

    • I haven’t heard anything about them returning next week. If they are, I’m sure someone in the area will let us know. The signs said filming was ending on Friday (10/12/12) but there’s always a chance it’ll continue next week.

Paul – you got some great shots there!

I wish they would stay in the UK
I want to know why they seem to be unable to find more southern people to play these charactors.
