This final photo sharing update (for today) will have photos of a location in Senoia, GA, which, as far as I know, hasn’t been seen yet on the show. However, I’m getting more and more pics of this location and it’s one that we will be seeing in the near future, and possibly for a while to come.
These photos were during construction and not actual filming, however. This is the area known as the Gin Property just across the RR tracks from downtown Senoia, which served as Woodbury on the show.
The first set of photos were sent in by Graham and the second group were sent in by Sandy, who also included a link to a newspaper article about this set / location which gives a little more information about the site for those interested.
Enjoy the pics and thank you to Sandy and Graham for sending these in. There will be more photos of this location in the coming weeks.
This photo sharing update, with pictures from Jeff H and Jeff M, include some nice pictures of Terminus along with some photos of the industrial area in Griffin which served as a base of operations for Rick and the gang when they were trying to arrange a trade for Beth. These pictures show the burned out cars and structures in the area of the torched walkers.
Thank you Jeff H and Jeff M for sending in these pictures and allowing me to share them!
The photos in this photo sharing update were sent in by Chris R. Chris traveled to several past filming locations last July with his family and sent in some great photos. Fans of the show will recognize the “CDC” (Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre), the church from season two’s hunt for Sophia, the campfire / waterfall site, the hospital Rick stumbled out of in the premiere, and many more.
Thank you Chris for sending in these photos and allowing me to share them with other fans.

Thank you to everyone who has sent, and continue to send, in photos of the various locations from the show. I enjoy looking at all of the pictures and sharing them with other fans, many of whom just cannot make it here to Georgia to see the locations for themselves.
This photo sharing update has photos from two people; Alicia and Earnest. Both groups of photos are from July of last year, I believe, after filming at Terminus had ended. I believe that even though there likely won’t be any filming there in the future, the Terminus location will remain an attraction for some time
In this final photo sharing update for today we have some pics sent in by Trevor A. Trevor sent these in toward the end of June last year and they include pics from Griffin, GA. If I’m not mistaken, this was the time filming was taking place for the season five, episode “Self Help”. (Disclaimer: When fans are on location, taking photos such as these, it’s rare that they know exactly where/when the scenes will air so I’m assuming based on the locations seen in the background.)
Thank you Trevor for sending in these pictures and allowing me to share them with fellow fans!
By now I’m sure everyone has seen the mid season finale for season five, or the “Beth scene”, so to speak. We know those scenes were filmed at the old Piedmont Hospital in Newnan, GA but because of the way the property is laid out, it was almost impossible for anyone to get on site during filming. That said, here’s a photo update from Elizabeth L who was there the day those scenes were filmed and was able to grab a few pics. Granted there isn’t a lot of detail from these pictures, but anyone who has been on site there, as I have, knows it would’ve been next to impossible to get anything good while filming was taking place.
In this photo sharing update we have some photos sent to us from Grant J. These photos were taken by Grant back in June and they include the house where Rick and Carl found shelter in season four, along with the infamous “pudding house”, also from season four. Along with those locations in Senoia, Grant also sent in some photos of the signatures which all fans can see at the Woodbury Shoppe in Senoia, GA.
I’m continuing to sort through emails and the photos I’ve been sent since last summer. If you have photos of any locations you’d like to share with fellow fans, please send them in and I’ll get them posted as soon as possible.
These photos were sent in last June by Sean and Brandy. They were able to get some pics of Woodbury (Senoia), the studio area, the steakhouse which served as the backdrop to one of Merle’s more famous moments, Terminus, and some other sites.
Thank you Sean and Brandy for sending these pics in and allowing me to share them with fellow fans.
While Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA was certainly seen on the show in several scenes, the interior and exterior scenes weren’t actually filmed there. They were filmed in Newnan, GA at the old Piedmont Newnan Hospital.
There was a lot of set dressing here to keep the background from showing. I believe it’s most evident when Abraham, Maggie, etc start walking away from the parked firetruck toward the doors where Rick and the others are walking out.

This is going to be another post where multiple scenes are represented in the same location. The first time we saw this location was after Daryl and Carol had their bridge jumping excursion. Afterward they found an alleyway to rest in and discuss what to do next.
The next time we saw this alleyway, Daryl and Noah were entering it to grab the truck seen in the previous scene so they could return to the church to enlist Rick and the others for help in rescuing Carol and Beth.
This alleyway is in Griffin, GA and appropriately named “State Alley” when you look at it on the map. You’ll also notice that it is just a block or so from where the scenes earlier with Rick and Company headed toward the food bank were filmed.
In the scene where Daryl and Noah are driving away, if you pay attention, you’ll notice the metal stairwell and foot bridge they drive under which I took photos of shown below.
